About Shreyansi

I am a qualified actuary with over five years of industry experience, an MSc in Statistics from the University of Glasgow, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Delhi.

I have experience teaching Mathematics and Statistics to undergraduate students at the University of Glasgow, alongside tutoring students in Statistics.

I'm passionate about making complex concepts simple, relatable, and engaging. My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing problem-solving skills, and understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas.

Having been through the actuarial qualification journey myself, I also understand the challenges students face and aim to make learning a supportive and enjoyable experience.

About the lesson

I offer personalized online tutoring in Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science, tailored to each student's academic level, learning style, and goals.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations, developing problem-solving skills, and understanding practical applications, rather than simply memorizing formulas.

What you can expect from my classes:
- Concept-based learning: Breaking down complex mathematical and statistical concepts into simple, understandable explanations.
- Personalized lessons: Sessions tailored to your syllabus, pace, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Exam-focused preparation: Practice questions, past papers, revision strategies, and exam techniques.
- Practical applications: Real-world examples from statistics, finance, and the actuarial industry.
- Interactive sessions: Encouraging questions, discussions, and independent problem-solving.

Subjects covered:
- Mathematics: Algebra, Calculus, Probability, and other foundational and advanced topics.
- Statistics: Probability, Statistical Inference, Regression, Statistical Modeling, and Data Analysis.
- Actuarial Science: Preparation for IAI and IFoA examinations, including CM1, CM2, CS1, CS2, CP1, SP2, and others.

Whether you're a school student looking to strengthen your mathematical skills, a university student studying statistics, or an aspiring actuary preparing for professional examinations, my goal is to make learning engaging, approachable, and confidence-building.

Classes are conducted online with flexible scheduling, structured learning plans, and individual attention to help you achieve your academic and professional goals.
