About Cheyenne
I'm a psychology student with a minor in education and have been working with children and teenagers for several years – whether as an intern at a private school or as a German and math teacher at language camps. Through this experience, I've discovered how much joy I get from sharing knowledge and guiding young people through their personal "aha!" moments. For me, teaching is more than just conveying information. I'm particularly passionate about sparking curiosity for new knowledge, building self-confidence, and above all, showing how much fun learning can be when driven by intrinsic motivation.

In my lessons, the content shouldn't just be memorized on paper, but truly understood. Creating an open and motivating atmosphere is incredibly important to me, one where students feel comfortable experimenting and even making mistakes. I use a communicative, interactive, and varied teaching style. Besides targeted exercises, which are crucial for subjects like math or languages, I focus particularly on practical, everyday tasks that are easier to integrate into the curriculum. The goal is to actively apply the material to foster understanding. My aim is for students to leave not only with new knowledge, but also with increased self-confidence and a renewed love of learning.

View more recommendations
