About Lisa

I truly believe that learning a language goes beyond just words—it’s about connecting with people and cultures. As someone who enjoys interacting with others and values cultural exchange, I create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where you can feel comfortable learning at your own pace. Whether you’re looking to improve your German or just want to chat about different topics, I love diving into conversations and exploring new ideas together. Let’s break down language barriers and have fun while doing it—whether we’re learning the basics or “nerding out” over cool topics!

About the lesson

My approach to teaching German is centered around a personalized, interactive, and culturally aware method. Drawing on my background as a psychiatric nurse and my experience working in an international hospital setting, I focus on creating a supportive and flexible environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace. My goal is to make learning German enjoyable and rewarding, so you can have fun while making real progress. Teaching Method and Techniques: I focus on creating a comfortable, structured environment where students can confidently engage with the language. My lessons, which typically last 50 minutes, are customized based on each learner’s level and needs, combining grammar, vocabulary, and conversational practice. I integrate real-life scenarios and interactive activities to make the lessons engaging and relevant. Additionally, I use multimedia materials like articles and videos to enrich the learning experience and help students connect the language to everyday contexts. What Sets Me Apart: I believe learning should be enjoyable and tailored to you. My background in healthcare and experience in international environments allows me to adapt to your unique learning needs. I am patient, supportive, and I want to create a positive, fun atmosphere where you can feel comfortable progressing at your own pace. My goal is to make learning German an exciting and rewarding experience. Who the Lessons Are For: These lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to learn and/or improve their German for personal, academic, or professional purposes. Whether you want to build confidence in speaking, improve your writing, or refine your grammar, I am here to support you every step of the way.
