About Celeste
I am a Professor at a University in San Diego and I have a MFA in Writing. I have been teaching for five years but I also have been tutoring various age groups for nine years. I believe all students can read and write well with practice. I get joy from helping students realize their full potential and finding what they love about writing.

My philosophy of education is rooted in the belief that the learning atmosphere plays an extensive role in how students learn. I try to build a space where students can feel open enough to take on new ideas. I show students that writing becomes a way to share stories by which you can learn to share your voice. Voice is important for you in understanding how to become good leaders in the community.
