About Emily
I have been teaching American Sign Language for three years in a high school setting; prior to that, I worked as an ASL interpreter after graduating from the National Technical Insititute for the Deaf. Having been trained by Deaf professionals and rated as an Advanced level signer by the Sign Language Proficiency Interview exam, I am capable of providing lessons for any level learner.

My lesson style is meant to accommodate students individual needs. Depending on your personal goals, our lesson can be conducted entirely voice off or partly voice off for beginners. I provide sentence practice, supplemental videos of Deaf signers at your request, and vocabulary review as well as standard conversational practice through skit implementation.
