About Kendall
I was born in and live in Texas, USA. I live in a rural area on a large tourist destination lake. I currently write for one national and one state publication as a historical and outdoor life journalist, both online, where my publishers allow me editorial discretion. Several of my articles rank on Google’s search engine. My father began teaching me to read when I was two-years of age.
I am an American Western historian and an American political historian. I have been in a romantic relationship with history and politics since I was a child. I have studied history my whole life and began researching history as a child. My hobbies are camping, gardening, painting in acrylics, swimming, and enjoying the great outdoors.

I teach American English speaking and writing to intermediate and advanced English speaking students.
Every student learns differently, and our brains use both hemispheres in language learning. I tailor my classes to the student’s level of speaking and use various teaching methods.
I focus on collocation, idiomatic understanding, new vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Every student learns at a different pace. Our brains use both hemispheres in language learning. I tailor my classes to the student’s level of speaking and the specific issues the student wants to target. I use various teaching methods.
One of my most popular lessons involves reading brief news articles tailored for learning English. These lessons begin with a vocabulary list, then reading the article for pronunciation and comprehension, and a discussion for speaking experience.
Some students prefer a discussion and want to be corrected. I have a long list of interesting topics to discuss with thought-provoking questions. I ask students to pick a topic they are not familiar with so they can learn new vocabulary, more culture, and a broader understanding of subjects in the English language.
