About Cheryl

I am currently certified by the Ontario College of Teachers to teach in Ontario, and have previously been certified in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. I have taught in all of those provinces and prepared students of Cambridge Overseas Examinations. I have spent years as Principal of a high performing school in my district, and I know what is effective instruction but believe equally in the awe and wonder of learning. Being on the Learning Path with others is a sacred place, and one that I would be honoured to share with you or your child.

About the lesson

My strategies are evidence-based choices based on research. I love Math now but didn't always. I understand hesitation and confusion, but those can be things of the past. I will help you to understand what is foundational to the concepts you need, and how to use that knowledge with confidence!

Cheryl is an amazing teacher and tutor. Over 30 years experience at all levels combined with her personal academic accomplishments make her uniquely qualified to work with students who have a specific challenge or concern with mathematics. I highly recommend Cheryl and would employ her instantly if I required this expertise for my children or myself.
