About Grace
I’m a professional engineer who uses math and science in my work every day. I’ve also spent time volunteering with nonprofits and the public library, where I taught and mentored kids of different ages. I know school can feel overwhelming sometimes, so I try to make learning less stressful by explaining things clearly and encouraging questions. My sessions are relaxed but focused. I adjust to each student’s pace, whether they need extra help with homework, preparation for a test, or just more confidence in class. My goal is to help kids understand the subject, feel comfortable with it, and even enjoy the process along the way.

Hi, I’m Grace. I’m a professional engineer with a Master’s degree in Engineering from UWaterloo. Alongside my work, I’ve volunteered with nonprofits and the public library, where I taught and mentored kids of different ages.
I offer tutoring in math and science for students up to Grade 8. My approach is patient and clear, with the goal of helping kids understand concepts step by step and feel confident in their abilities. I can also help with homework and test preparation, always adapting to each student’s pace and learning style.
Lessons are available in Toronto or online. My rate is $40/hour, with the first lesson free.
