About Jake
I've been teaching for 10 years, and actively playing music for over half of my life! I've toured the U.S. multiple times, and toured internationally throughout Europe once. From small intimate venues to arenas, I have plenty of experience in what it's like to be a part of a performance.

We will develop a personalized plan for you to reach your goals as a drummer, regardless of your skill level. We will go through warm-ups, technical and foundational skills, and pick out a selection of songs to build your very own repertoire! I'm flexible and I prioritize having a good time throughout the process of musical growth. We can dive deep or just rock out!

Not only is Jake a wonderful teacher, but he is also a caring individual. He has experience working with various needs, including autism spectrum disorders. He is a particularly good communicator and great at connecting with all types of personalities. This makes him highly motivating to be around. He plays a variety of instruments and is knowledgeable in teaching those to others. He can also introduce music theory and has background in songwriting as well. I doubt there’s really anything he can’t do as a teacher. He’s worked wonders for my teenage son.
