About Fay
I am a multi-disciplinary animator and artist with a passion for teaching! And I'm a nerd for film-making. I have: - worked as an animator on a Sky kids TV series. - a Bachelor's degree in Animation, graduated with First Class Honours. - been drawing and making art for 10 years. - been a creative consultant at a media company for the creation of a kids TV animated series. - taught children and adults how to bring their creative ideas to life for 2 years!

As an experienced tutor and professional artist, I teach not just the technical aspects of illustration and digital art, but also how to grow your creativity! I tailor each lesson to the student's needs. I follow the student's interests and I take a passion-led approach to ensure deep learning and effective application of taught methods. So whether you are a beginner, or someone who wants to enhance their skills, someone who wants to learn animation and film theory, or a professional who wants to enhance their entrepreneurial skills with creativity, I'm here to help! Lessons are 1 hour. For ages 12+ I teach: - Traditional drawing - Digital art + Procreate / clip studio paint - Character design - Animation - Portfolio preparation - Cartoon / comic creation I will also teach you one of the most important things an artist must know: how to grow and develop your own skills throughout your own creative career so that you will never stop improving.

I took lessons with Fay for around 6 months on another website (Preply) and she has been so amazing in helping me learn to draw digitally. I underestimated how much i would improve, and I started to get so much more confident in drawing the ideas that I had. We used the clip studio paint software and she was really good at helping me draw exactly in the way i wanted to, which in my case was fan art of fictional characters. Thanks Fay!!!!
