About Zandile
I am a theatre-trained, internationally acclaimed, and multi-award-winning actress and acting coach originally born and raised in South Africa, now residing in New Jersey, USA. I have extensive professional experience across film, theatre, television, commercials, and voice work for more than a decade. I hold a BA in Theatre and Performance from The University of Cape Town, one of Africa's leading performance institutions, where I trained in physical theatre, movement, musical theatre, protest theatre, improvisation, film, and character-based storytelling. My professional acting career spans major international platforms, including Netflix, Showmax, and national broadcasters. I have also performed at prestigious venues and festivals such as the Royal Court Theatre (UK), Edinburgh International Fringe Festival, St. Ann's Warehouse (New York), and leading theatres across South Africa, Europe, and the USA. I bring a practical, industry-focused approach to coaching. My lessons emphasize acting technique, vocal clarity, script analysis, and professional self-tape preparation, helping actors build confidence, emotional truth, and audition-ready skills. I work with beginners, aspiring actors, and working performers, offering personalized coaching that supports an actor's unique voice and creative growth.

My acting lessons focus on practical acting techniques, voice work, and professional self-tape preparations. I help actors build confidence, emotional truth, and industry-ready skills for auditions, call backs, and performances on camera and stage. I employ a personalized, hands-on coaching approach, utilizing the Meisner Technique, which combines classical and modern acting techniques with practical audition preparation. Lessons are interactive, supportive, and results-driven, focusing on emotional connection, character development, vocal clarity, and camera awareness.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- Warm Up Exercises (vocal, breath, body)
- Acting Technique Work (scene study, emotional access, character work, and development)
- Voice and Speech Coaching (projection, diction, tone, intonation, intention)
-Self- Tape Coaching (script breakdown, framing, performance adjustments)
-Feedback and actionable take-home exercises.
What sets me apart? I have extensive theatre and film training, and experience of more than a decade. I have a passion for helping people explore and develop their acting talents and refine their artistic abilities. I also focus on self-tapes and audition readiness through a supportive coaching style that builds confidence and authenticity. I create tailored coaching that caters to individuals' needs and desires.
