About Renee

I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and an MMath degree. I love exploring the history of mathematics alongside teaching. Ancient civilizations’ contributions fascinate me, from Babylonian tables to Greek geometry. I show students how famous theorems originated and the stories behind discoveries. This perspective makes learning richer and more meaningful. I guide learners to appreciate mathematics as a cultural journey. Understanding the evolution of ideas helps them see connections between topics. I explain how concepts like algebra and calculus developed over centuries. Historical examples bring context to modern problems. I encourage curiosity about the people behind the math. Lessons are not just about numbers, but about human ingenuity. Students discover the creativity and struggle in each breakthrough. I invite them to explore the history that shaped our understanding of numbers and patterns. Mathematics becomes both a story and a skill in my classes.

About the lesson

I teach maths with a clear and structured approach. Concepts are introduced step by step, making them easy to grasp. I cover algebraic foundations, calculus including differentiation and integration, geometry proofs, and probability and statistics. Each lesson builds on the previous one. I focus on deep understanding rather than rote learning. Students practice problem solving to develop critical thinking. I adapt lessons to match individual learning styles. Real-world examples are used to make concepts meaningful. I encourage questions and discussions in every session. Exam preparation and assignments are integrated naturally into the learning process. My approach ensures that knowledge lasts and can be applied. Students gradually gain confidence and independence. I guide them to become future problem solvers. My goal is their long-term success in maths and analytical thinking.
