ABOUT ME
- I am a medical trainee with extensive knowledge in human biology and anatomy
- I am able to work with a diverse set of clients, with various physical capabilities (e.g., injuries, medical conditions, etc)
- In my classes, students can expect challenging, dynamic flows tailored to your specific goals (e.g. increasing strength and flexibility, reducing low back pain, etc)
- Emphasis on proper form and protection from injury
- Emphasis on mindful movement and body awareness.

About the lesson

As a medical trainee with an educational background in human biology and anatomy, I love how I can apply this knowledge to inform my practice and teaching. Combining my background in medicine with my passion for yoga, I am able to bring a unique perspective and approach to teaching. As an instructor, I tend to place increased emphasis on proper form and protection from injury, while still remaining playful and creative in my sequencing. In my classes, students can expect challenging, dynamic flows that aim to develop increased strength and flexibility. Another important component of my classes is my emphasis on mindful movement and body awareness. Come to class ready to flow, and step off the mat feeling challenged, refreshed and balanced. I typically teach hatha and vinyasa classes, and love to teach beginners. I have been trained to teach in heated environments.
