About Isabella

I have been working as an English teacher since the week I turned 18, and to this day I am proud of having made such a right decision at such a young age.
For a few years, I was that teacher attached to the traditional English schools' classroom, and I had an aversion to online teaching methods. But it's good that we learn and change all the time, isn't it?
Nowadays, I am 100% in favor of distance and individual learning. I learned that the tools that the internet provides us can help - A LOT - in the quality of online teaching. I found myself as a professional in one-to-one classes, where I can use my creativity and help students reach their potential more effectively than in large groups.
I still believe in the value of the traditional classroom, but once I learned how to use technology to my advantage, I am completely in love with the virtual classroom.
What gives me the most satisfaction in my career is seeing the gradual evolution of the students, seeing them achieve goals after goals until reaching their biggest dream. And also having my unique set of knowledge and skills, because I learn new things with each student I meet along the way.

About the lesson

For prep classes, the first few classes are focused on learning the structure and question types of exams, practicing specific questions. I will give you practical tips and the right techniques for you to develop speed reading and be able to understand and answer questions about long academic texts without having to actually read everything.
There is a technique for everything, and writing is no different. I'm going to teach you a super easy structure to replicate in any essay on basically any topic, so you can do well and not waste a lot of time or energy on the written part of the exams.
After learning all the techniques for all areas of the test, we begin the "intensivão" phase, where we will practice entire sections of the test with a timer so you can learn to manage your time well and not get caught up in the test.

For General English classes, I use the American English File (Oxford) or Interchange (Cambridge) book series, depending on your needs and likes/dislikes.

I give conversation classes, but always combined with other language skills. I do a mix of exercises where you will mainly practice speaking, but always with some other skill to prevent your English from getting "rusty" in any other areas.

A primeira "aula" é gratuita para que o aluno possa me conhecer e entender meu método, e para que eu possa conhecer o aluno e suas necessidades. Não praticamos nem estudamos nada nesse primeiro momento.
A partir do nosso segundo encontro, já começamos as aulas focadas no que o aluno quer e precisa, pelo valor fixo de R$50 reais, havendo possibilidade de fechar pacotes mensais com desconto.

Aulas avulsas: R$60

Pacotes (mensais) disponíveis:

5h = R$260 (40 reais de desconto)

10h = R$500 (100 reais de desconto)

OBS: Os materiais são gratuitos e disponibilizados ao aluno para download pelo Google Drive.
