About Chandra
I bring a unique approach to my lessons because I hold two Master's degrees: one in Teaching Math and another in Design. This background allows me to combine creative, visual thinking with technical math to make concepts "click." I don't just teach you formulas; I show you how to perceive math deeply and creatively. I also love using tools like graphing calculators, Desmos, and GeoGebra to help you visualize problems and find time-saving hacks.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I adjust my style to suit your goals.
- Deep Concepts: If you want to dive into the "why" and explore thorough, deep explanations, I am all for it.
- Bite-Sized Learning: If you are more comfortable with simple, bite-sized concepts and quick shortcuts, that is perfectly okay too.
Whether we are tackling the SAT or AP Calculus, we will move at the pace and depth that feels right for you. My goal is to ease the pain of math and show you that it doesn't have to be scary.

If you feel overwhelmed by math, please know that it is absolutely normal. In fact, I used to struggle with topics like trigonometric properties myself. Those challenges are exactly why I learned how to break down complex concepts and make them simple.
