About Sarah
I am a university student who loves teaching and inspiring others. I excel in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I have experience tutoring my cousins, my school mates, and K-8 Teach for LA students. I believe that teaching is about communication, encouragement, and the bond between student and tutor. Since I am also a student, I’ve probably been in your shoes very recently! I will always ask you what teaching style helps you the most, and try to adapt in a way that will effectively allow you to understand the material best. I typically like to do half lecture and half interactive problem solving for each tutoring session. For our first lesson, we will get to know each other and pinpoint the topics that you need the most help with. From there, we can build a plan that will ensure your improvement.
