About Rebecca
I am a passionate ESL tutor with 18 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I truly enjoy helping students improve their English and build confidence in communication. I have taught around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me understand different learning styles and needs.
I focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and writing to create a strong foundation. One of my proudest milestones is seeing students grow from beginners into confident English speakers. Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication skills.
My teaching style is simple, interactive, and supportive. I encourage students to practise regularly and express themselves freely. I believe every student can succeed, and I am committed to helping them achieve their goals.

My ESL teaching methodology focuses on helping students communicate clearly and confidently in real-life situations. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons relatable, showing how English is used in daily conversations, workplace communication, and academic tasks.
Motivation is central to my teaching, and I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes. I include problem-solving exercises like role-plays, discussions, and scenario-based activities to help students think critically and respond naturally in English.
I maintain integrity by providing honest and constructive feedback, guiding students step by step. Flexibility is key, as I adjust lessons to each student’s pace, level, and goals. In addition to ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing skills to provide a complete language learning experience.
