About Fathima
I am a passionate and experienced educator with over 10 years of experience working with children. I hold a BA in Early Childhood Education and am currently completing my Master of Education at the University of Waikato. I enjoy helping children understand new concepts, develop confidence and discover that learning can be enjoyable. I am patient, friendly and approachable, and I believe every child learns differently. I want to use my teaching experience to provide supportive and encouraging tutoring that helps students achieve their learning goals.

My lessons are friendly, engaging and adapted to each student's individual learning needs. I use a variety of activities, questioning, discussion, practical tasks and age-appropriate resources to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I first identify the student's strengths and areas where they need support, then plan lessons accordingly. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively and build confidence in their abilities. Lessons can be adapted to suit the student's age, level and learning goals, with regular feedback to help them recognize their progress. I am happy to tutor children from early childhood through primary school level.
