About Logan
I am a student enrolled at NC State working toward a double major in Physics and Science Education. I have experience doing professional tutoring through Sylvan tutoring centers around North Carolina, and I have a passion for talking and teaching all things science. Working with me will build an extremely strong appreciation for the practical and fundamental ideas behind what we are learning, while maintaining a comfortable and laid-back environment.

My main philosophy when it comes to teaching is always to really focus on the actual concepts and ideas first, and handle the actual mathematical or formulaic solution second. I am not looking to regurgitate memorized formulas and answers to questions. I am looking to instill a strong fundamental understanding of whatever subject I am teaching. This fundamental understanding is what separates the life-long learners of the world from the typical person. My methodology of enforcing strong fundamentals allows students to solve questions they haven't been taught the formulaic way to solve thanks to intuition and the root understanding of what's going on. My focus is on helping out any students with STEM coursework from any K-12 grade level and year one college level mathematics and physics.
