About Alia
I am a Physics graduate student at U of A with an emphasis on physics education. I have taught students from multiple age groups ranging from kg- college level. I have also volunteered in nonacademic settings, so can effectively communicate difficult concepts in a more digestible manner.

I base my classes on trying to find what works best for the student personally. Students learn by experiencing and not by getting lectured to, hence I focus on guided problems and finding pathways to identify what said problems are asking for.

Alia was an amazing tutor. I felt so lost in my algebra class and had almost given up hope. She helped me go from not knowing anything to being able to recognize and apply the correct formulas.
