About Benjamin

I tutor students of all ages in mathematics and physics. I hold a BA in physics from Boston University, where I supplemented my learning with an interdisciplinary concentration in mathematics. I have always appreciated the beauty in mathematics as the underlying foundation for various applied sciences. Teaching is one of my greatest passions, as I seek to inspire my students with the same love and appreciation for mathematics that I have found myself. In my free time, I continue my education, self-studying electrodynamic theory and path integral formulation. Book now!

About the lesson

The method of mathematical proof is a powerful tool we can use to more deeply understand and appreciate the mechanics of the problem solving process. In session, we will work together to prove the basic properties underlying the topic in focus as well as work through example problems to bolster our mathematical intuition and familiarize ourselves with the material we seek to master. Outside of class, students will have short assignments by which they will demonstrate their level of comfort with the material and indicate whether or not they are ready to move on.
