About Omer
I am a passionate and approachable tutor with a strong academic background in science, engineering, and software development. I hold a PhD in Atmospheric Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed expertise in mathematics, physics, and scientific analysis, which I now use to support students at all levels—from primary school to postgraduate studies. In addition to my scientific training, I have worked in education, research, and software-related roles, allowing me to bring a practical, interdisciplinary approach to teaching. I focus on helping students understand complex topics through real-world examples, step-by-step guidance, and personalised strategies. Whether you're preparing for school exams, university modules, or just looking to improve your confidence in maths and science, I’m committed to helping you achieve your goals. My aim is not just to teach, but to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and long-term academic success.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and fully customised to meet each student’s unique needs, goals, and academic level. I focus on building a solid understanding of core concepts in mathematics, physics, and science by simplifying complex ideas through real-world examples, visual aids, and problem-solving techniques. With my background in engineering, scientific research, and software development, I integrate practical and analytical thinking into my sessions, helping students connect theory with application. Each lesson begins with a brief review to assess prior knowledge, followed by focused instruction on the topic at hand. I use guided practice, questioning techniques, and step-by-step explanations to ensure students not only follow but truly understand the material. I also provide tailored resources and follow-up tasks to reinforce learning between sessions. Whether you're preparing for school exams, university modules, or just looking to strengthen your foundation, my approach is supportive, results-driven, and adaptable to all learning styles—from primary school to postgraduate level. The goal is to make learning effective, enjoyable, and confidence-boosting.
