About Vamsikalyan
I am a PhD student in the Quantum Communications and Quantum Computations program at University College London. I have achieved a First overall in my BSc Physics and MSc Physics with Quantum Dynamics at Imperial College London. I have previously tutored mathematics and physics as part of Seneca Learning and via private tutoring.
I am an experimental physicist with experience with electronics, programming, and advanced post-graduate mathematical topics. I also occasionally play the guitar and practice martial arts.

My lessons are always tailored to the tutee. As such, the first session is usually about understanding what topics the tutee is comfortable with and what topics the tutee requires help with. I encourage problem-solving and critical thinking skills in tutees as they are more beneficial than excessive memorisation when tackling maths/physics problems. My teaching style ensures that the student understands what the topic is building up towards so they remain curious. Learning is a skill that needs to be taught, and with the right resources, you can learn anything.
Sessions can be either 1 or 2 hours long, and the weekly frequency of the lessons can be discussed. Prices are also negotiable if required. I am also DBS qualified.
I have tutored GCSE and A-Level (further) mathematics and physics for three years, and all the students have achieved grades ranging from A* to A. I also achieved a First overall in my BSc and MSc Physics at ICL with a heavy focus on quantum mechanics. Therefore, I can also provide academic advice if requested.
