About Lamis
I am a PhD mathematician with extensive experience teaching and tutoring mathematics at both the high-school and university levels.
Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with students with different backgrounds, abilities, and learning goals. I believe that every student can make significant progress in mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and the learning process is adapted to their individual needs.
My approach combines strong mathematical knowledge with patience, clarity, and practical problem-solving. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their confidence.

I adapt my teaching to each student's level, learning style, and goals. Depending on the student's needs, I use:

A Typical Lesson
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and a discussion of the student's current difficulties or goals. We then focus on the main topic, with explanations and examples tailored to the student's level. I encourage students to actively participate by solving problems themselves while I provide guidance and feedback.
We finish by reviewing the key ideas and identifying what the student should practice before the next lesson.
