About Bushra

I’m Dr. Bushra Majeed, a dedicated mathematics educator with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from York University, Canada, and over 10 years of international teaching experience. I’ve helped students from middle school to university excel in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and probability. I’ve served as a course instructor and long-time Teaching Assistant at York University, and was a lecturer at the University of the Punjab, Pakistan. I was awarded a Gold Medal for securing the highest academic standing in my MS in Mathematics. Throughout my academic career, I have consistently performed at a high level, earning top grades and multiple merit-based scholarships. I’m also PMP certified, which supports my structured, goal-oriented teaching approach. With strong expertise in MATLAB and Python, I bring real-world applications into my lessons to make complex ideas more accessible. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations and adapting to each learner’s needs in a supportive, welcoming environment. With over 10 years of teaching experience in both Pakistan and Canada, I bring a diverse perspective on student needs and learning environments. Having taught from middle school through university levels, I can connect with learners at any stage and build their confidence.
