I make genetics clear by breaking big ideas into simple, logical steps. I start with what you already know, then use worked examples, diagrams and guided practice before you solve problems on your own, so you understand why an answer is right, not just what it is. Lessons are usually 60 minutes and tailored to your pace and goals, including exam preparation. I hold a PhD in Genetics and a Master of Teaching, and I have classroom teaching experience. I tutor secondary students (including NCEA Levels 1–3), first-year university students, and adults curious about genetics.
