About Gemma

Completing my BSc Chemistry at the University of Auckland provided the scientific foundation for my 13 years in the classroom. Biological drawings and human anatomy charts often clutter my desk as I map out complex systems. I help students grasp the nervous system and the precise mechanics of mitosis and meiosis.

Mastery of DNA and RNA structure along with molecular biology and protein synthesis remains central to my work. Clear explanations allow me to guide you toward achieving your specific academic targets.

About the lesson

Clarity is the primary requirement for a student to succeed in biology. You deserve an explanation that makes sense of difficult concepts immediately.

My 13 years of teaching have reinforced the necessity of structured feedback loops for every learner. We focus heavily on weekly practice questions that target your weak points and reinforce your strengths.

This methodical approach ensures that your knowledge stays sharp and exam ready. I enjoy seeing students finally connect the dots during these sessions. Working together will ensure you gain confidence in your subject mastery.
