About Anbareen
I have more than 8 years of teaching experience at university level. My experience followed the modular structure where I, as a module leader was responsible for delivering the lectures and conducting tutorials. In this regard, I was responsible for designing and delivering at least 8 hours of teaching and tutoring every semester. As a module leader, it was my responsibility to streamline and update the module contents every time they were taught. While it is fairly simple to update an existing module, it was the development of new module that took more time and efforts, especially when it had to be aligned with university, school, and programme objectives together. I have developed several modules in my past experience and have updated/streamlined numerous - hence you can regard me 'experienced' in this category.
My teaching primarily involved preparation and delivery of lectures. I mostly used Microsoft PowerPoint trademark for my lectures, sometimes aided by Prezi. My lectures were always multimodal in nature having text, pictures, and videos, in combination with my verbal communication. A combination of this variety always made my lectures "interesting, enjoyable, and learning-with-fun" as expressed by my students.

I mostly adopt communicative teaching approaches when it comes to teaching English language. I believe that students learn better when teaching is learner-centered. My lessons are interactive and I make sure to bring realia experience to my learners by integrating technology in my lessons.
