About April
Hi! I’m a 23-year-old with four years of experience in Youth Development through the YMCA, along with six months of experience as a Behavioral Technician. I’m a board-certified Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), which means I’m certified to work with children with autism. I bring that knowledge into my teaching by thoughtfully integrating what I’ve learned about how young minds grow and learn. I’m truly passionate about helping students and young artists develop not just their skills, but their confidence and creativity!

Hi! I'm passionate about helping young artists and students grow—not just in skill, but in confidence, creativity, and self-expression!
My teaching philosophy is simple: every student learns differently. Whether you're a visual learner, hands-on creator, or conceptual thinker, I take the time to understand your learning style and use that as the foundation for every lesson.
What I Offer:

Exploration of different Art mediums: drawing, painting, digital drawing, clay sculpture, and more!
Encouragement of creative problem-solving and artistic voice
Positive, engaging, and inclusive environment!
