About Christine

I work as a personal trainer alongside teaching privately, and across six years of combining both roles I have guided approximately one hundred students toward genuinely active, engaged English learning. My fitness background gives me a naturally energetic, encouraging teaching style, treating language progress a bit like physical progress, built through consistent, genuine effort over real time. I work particularly well with restless or physically active students who struggle sitting through traditional, sedentary classroom-style lessons for long stretches. My teaching style is energetic and encouraging, built on the same positive, consistent coaching approach I use daily with my fitness clients professionally. I have guided numerous students toward genuine fluency, watching many finally enjoy learning after years of feeling bored or restless in more traditional teaching environments. Students consistently tell me they retain material better after an active, engaged lesson than after sitting through a purely passive traditional class somewhere. I take genuine pride in helping restless, physically active learners finally find a teaching style that genuinely works for how their mind and body actually function together. My approach treats language learning as a genuine physical and mental practice, not just a quiet intellectual exercise alone. After six years, I remain genuinely passionate about this active, energetic teaching approach.

I work as a personal trainer alongside teaching, so my lessons often involve genuine movement and activity rather than sitting perfectly still through an entire session. We practise instructional language through actual movement, giving and following directions physically, since that active repetition genuinely builds command structures and imperative vocabulary far faster than passive study alone. Vocabulary focuses on fitness, health, and body-related language, genuinely useful words many students never properly learn but actually need at a gym or in daily wellness conversations. Grammar around instructions, sequencing, and comparison gets taught through actual workout routines, since these structures come up constantly and naturally when describing exercise and physical progress. I encourage students to describe their own fitness goals and routines, building genuine, personal speaking practice tied to something they're actually motivated to discuss regularly. Listening practice sometimes uses fitness videos and coaching content, exposing students to natural, energetic English wrapped around something genuinely engaging and active. I keep lessons energetic and occasionally physical, closer to a training session than a formal classroom, since movement genuinely helps some students focus and retain material better. Encouragement and positive reinforcement stay constant throughout, the same coaching approach I use professionally to keep clients motivated and genuinely engaged. Every lesson leaves students both more fluent and more energised.
