About Nicole

Hi! I'm Nicole, a Penn State University student majoring in Cybersecurity with a passion for helping students succeed in math. I offer patient, personalized tutoring for middle and high school students, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. My goal is to make challenging concepts easier to understand through clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practice tailored to each student's needs. I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and strengthening their math skills. Whether you're looking for extra homework support, test preparation, or help building a stronger foundation, I'm here to help you reach your academic goals!

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making math easier to understand through clear explanations, step-by-step examples, and plenty of practice. I believe every student can succeed in math when they have the right support and a strong foundation.

A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous concepts and identifying areas where the student needs extra help. I then explain the topic using worked examples, guide the student through practice problems, and gradually encourage them to solve problems independently. I also check for understanding throughout the lesson and adjust my approach to each student's needs.

As a Cybersecurity student at Penn State University, I enjoy problem-solving and breaking down challenging concepts into manageable steps. I aim to create a patient, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

I offer tutoring for middle school and high school students in math, including pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Whether you need help understanding classwork, preparing for tests, or strengthening foundational skills, I will work with you at your own pace to help you reach your goals!
