About Carson
I'm Carson, a software engineer with a bachelor's degree in software development from Utah Valley University. Before moving into software, I spent about five years in the solar industry, where I managed an engineering and CAD department of roughly 30 people and spent a lot of time training and onboarding new team members. I have also taught and mentored younger people through Boy Scouts. I like breaking tough topics into small steps and helping students feel confident, whether they are working through algebra, geometry, or trigonometry.

I teach math in a patient, step-by-step way. Lessons start with where you are now and what you want out of them, whether that is passing a class, catching up on algebra, or getting comfortable with geometry and trigonometry. I explain each idea clearly, then we work through problems together so you learn by doing, not just watching. A typical session has a quick review, new material, and practice problems you can repeat on your own. I have years of experience training and mentoring people, from teaching skills in Boy Scouts to onboarding and managing teams in the solar industry. Great for middle school through college students and adult learners who want math to finally make sense.
