About Milo

I am a STEM student at the University of California, Santa Barbara with a strong academic background in mathematics and sciences. Originally from the Philippines, I bring a disciplined and goal-oriented approach to everything I do — values shaped through years of competitive swimming at the national level and academic excellence at Xavier School, one of the most rigorous schools in the Philippines.
I have experience working with students of different backgrounds through community service and mentoring, and I understand how important patience and personalized guidance are when it comes to learning. I believe every student can succeed with the right support and the right approach.
Whether you are struggling with Algebra, preparing for a Calculus exam, or trying to make sense of Physics or Statistics, I am here to break things down in a way that actually makes sense — and to help you build the confidence to tackle any problem on your own

About the lesson

I specialize in helping students succeed in some of the most challenging math and science courses — Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, Statistics, and Algebra. Whether you're preparing for an exam, catching up on missed concepts, or trying to finally understand material that has never clicked, I tailor every session to your specific needs and learning style.
My goal is not just to help you get through the homework — it's to help you truly understand the material so you feel confident going into every test. I break down complex problems into simple, manageable steps and make sure you understand the 'why' behind every concept, not just the 'how.'
