About Dwayne
I am a Finance and Psychology student at Baruch College with a passion for teaching and mentoring. My Finance background gives me the technical and analytical skills to simplify arithmetic concepts, while my Psychology studies help me connect with students emotionally, providing patience and encouragement. I have hands-on experience guiding and supervising 25 students at a charter school, where I created a supportive environment that encouraged learning and teamwork. With direct experience in arithmetic tutoring, I focus on building strong foundations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. My goal is to help students feel confident, motivated, and fully prepared for both classroom success and real-life problem-solving.
