About Jodie
I am a second year undergraduate music student at Durham University studying musical analysis, techniques, and composition.
After I graduate, I intend to undergo a postgraduate teaching degree to gain my PGCE; to then pursue a career in teaching.
I have previous paid experience in teaching private brass and piano lessons to primary school children, and tutoring GCSE Mathematics students. Other teaching experience includes running a beginner brass band, which involved teaching and running a rehearsal with mainly primary or early secondary school children.
My hobbies includes partaking in multiple musical ensembles - particularly brass bands and choirs - and composing in my spare time.
From these experiences, I have developed the skills in order to teach brass, piano and music theory to a beginner to intermediate level.
