About Camila
Hi! I'm Camila, an experienced English teacher who supports children and teenagers in their learning. I studied English at IICANA, where I graduated and was valedictorian in 2020. I also worked as a teacher at the same institution between 2022 and 2025, and I currently teach online to children from various Latin American countries at English for Kids. I truly enjoy teaching because I love seeing how, little by little, each student gains confidence to understand, express themselves, and feel comfortable using the language. I know that learning English can generate insecurity or frustration, so I prioritize a patient, friendly, and respectful approach. I am a committed, organized, and energetic person. I prepare thoroughly for each class and strive to ensure that students feel supported, heard, and comfortable throughout the entire process. My goal is for learning English to be not just an obligation, but a positive and achievable experience for everyone.

My approach as a teacher is to create a warm, dynamic, and pressure-free environment where each student can learn English with confidence. I like to tailor my classes to each person's age, level, goals, and interests, so that learning is both useful and enjoyable. I work primarily with children and teenagers, both in academic support classes and in general language development. I also work with adults who want to learn or reinforce vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, or speaking skills. In my classes, I combine clear explanations with practical exercises, conversation, games, visual activities, and materials adapted to each student. For younger children, I prioritize participatory activities that maintain motivation; with teenagers, I incorporate topics of interest and specific goals. Each class begins with a brief review, continues with new content and practical activities, and ends with a summary of the material covered. My goal is for each student to understand, feel encouraged to participate, and progress at their own pace.
