About Uzhmaa
Hi! I'm Uzhmaa a criminology student currently attending university in Leicester. I hold a strong passion for learning languages and currently speak English, Gujarati and French. Whilst studying french for the past year, I have interacted with many Native french speakers wishing to learn English, and thus have developed a joy for assisting others with refining their English Language abilities. So far I have only taught English informally, and have worked with some young children in my neighbourhood to help assist them with learning the very basics of English such as the alphabet, numbers, and vocabulary. I wish to begin delivering lessons professionally.

My teaching is aimed primarily at children, or beginner English learners. I focus on tailoring my lessons to the individual, as everyone learns differently, and I try to prioritise the topic areas most suitable and enjoyable for the student. My lessons will address both written and oral English and will aim to improve the students conversational English. Therefore, I will be assisting them in expanding their vocabulary whilst strengthening their grammar. Together, we will work with short texts and audio clips and will discuss the vocabulary and basic grammar rules.
I am also open to assisting students from Primary up until year 11. I will assist them with understanding their curriculum for English Language and literature and will support them with completing their homework and exam preparation.
