I am a dedicated artist with a deep academic background in art and art history, passionate about helping students understand not only how to create, but why art matters. By connecting technique to historical movements, visual language, and cultural context, I help students develop stronger artistic judgment, intention, and originality. My teaching emphasizes the creative process—observation, experimentation, and critical thinking—because true artistic growth comes from understanding, not just producing a final result. Students should take lessons with me because I bring a deep passion for art combined with strong knowledge of art history and its cultural context. Understanding the history behind artistic movements, techniques, and masters helps students see why art is created the way it is, allowing them to make more intentional, informed creative decisions.
