About Jo
I am an award winning local artist who has trained with some of the most talented contemporary artists in the state, achieving High Distinctions across all artistic modalities and winning several awards and grants for my creative work, both local and national.
I participate regularly in group art shows and have held award winning solo exhibitions. I also have post-graduate qualifications in Professional Writing and love to combine my creative skills in visual storytelling. Sharing these skills with willing students is a passion for me.
Classes take place in my home studio but if you need to participate remotely that can be arranged.

About the lesson

Learn by doing, hands on, with a variety of projects and materials. Each lesson we will use a 'brief' where we draw on our personal experiences and our sense of self to create something unique and expressive. You will learn how to create a zine, personalised jewellery, collage and work with a variety of materials.
Lessons go for two hours.
