About Nikolas
I'm very passionate about playing the guitar and dedicated to constantly honing and expanding my skill. I have had a lot of experience with the guitar both as a self-taught and later on tutored guitarist and draw knowledge from the difficulties I've faced as well as my successes. I want to help carry newcomers through the initial stages of their guitar journey so they can enjoy a smoother and more rewarding experience learning this magical instrument.

My approach to teaching involves breaking down all the fundamental knowledge a fledgling guitarist needs to get started from understanding basic theoretical concepts to developing the dexterity and sense of rhythm to play their favourite songs and even tackling the beautiful art of songwriting. Guitar has a strong initial learning curve which causes many beginners to become discouraged and give up. I am here to confidently guide my students through that stage sourcing from my years of experience and informed from the many unnecessary hiccups I faced in the beginning as a self-taught guitarist. My lessons are available for all beginners regardless of age and are typically one-hour sessions with possibility to extend as needed.
