About Fernanda
I have been an English teacher for at least 22 years. After living in the USA, I started early with tutoring classes. I fell in love with the art of teaching and I decided to go to college to study English. I worked in regular schools, preparatory courses and language courses. I also had the opportunity to work as an interpreter in some education fairs and I do translations of abstracts and articles for international magazines. By dedicating myself to the teaching of English for so many years, I have already helped many students to accomplishtheir dreams: to do job interviews, to reach the level of English required for working experience, taking a visa, passing the year, etc. The passion for teaching is so great, that today I dedicate myself in the training of English teachers, offering workshops in my place and taking these trainings for language franchises and SC schools.

Two methodologies guide my classes: the communicative methodology, which pretty much says everything , the focus of the lesson is communication; grammar is a consequence of the learning process. And the humanistic methodology, in which I approach my student as a whole; an intellectualized being with emotional aspects. The student is not an empty container, he or she already has knowledge and experiences that contribute to the learning process. The classes are relaxed and focused on the needs of the students.

What about the teacher? It uses a unique method, different from the others, loves what it does and can pass on that love to students like me. I learned from it to like and get more accustomed to English. Thank you for teaching me English.
