About Charlotte
I am a 17 year old student who has recently completed their A levels. I aim to transfer my years of experience with GCSE and A Level art to students who are seeking to achieve top grades and reach a higher artistic standard. I have a good understanding of what exam boards and teachers are looking for in a student's work having met those criteria myself. Students should expect a supportive and creatively exciting environment during my lessons which contain clear objectives and space for important guidance on development and progression.

Lessons will include practical application of materials alongside discussions about planning the progression of a student's sketchbook in relation to their theme. Lesson length would ideally be at least an hour to provide space for the production of developed work towards the sketchbook. I have received tutoring myself during my art journey and have worked with fellow students in teaching printing and painting techniques in the classroom. I could tutor at GCSE and A Level, providing key insights based on recent experience with exams and preparation. My teaching methodology focuses on working with a student's own artistic interests and using them to assist in building elevated and developed sketchbook work and larger pieces. I would do this by bringing in my own unique art historical knowledge to inspire a deeper consideration of how materials and concepts can be applied in a student's development.
