About Jeremy

I take a balanced approach to both procedural fluency and deep conceptual understanding. With over 250 hours of tutoring experience on Schoolhouse, an international tutoring organization, I’ve spent the past two years sharpening my methods and learning what truly helps students succeed. I pride myself on explaining concepts clearly, addressing gaps directly, and ensuring nothing is left unresolved. My goal is not only to help you solve problems but also to build lasting confidence in your own ability to think critically and independently. Teaching, for me, is about empowering students to see challenges as opportunities to grow.

About the lesson

Unlike virtually any other tutor that emphasizes procedural skills over conceptual understanding, I take a 50/50 balanced approach in procedural and conceptual understanding. I believe that mastering conceptual understanding of topics will make your future studies significantly easier to understand, compared to those who merely memorize procedures and techniques to solving problems. With over 250 hours of tutoring on Schoolhouse, an international tutoring organization, in a span of over two years, I have been only improving my skills, gaining tons of experience in the best practices when it comes to tutoring.
