My tutoring approach is structured and concept-driven, focusing on building logical reasoning and problem-solving skills through worked examples, guided practice, and gradual withdrawal of support (scaffolding). Each lesson typically runs 50 minutes, broken into a warm-up review, new concept introduction with real-world applications, and independent practice with immediate feedback.
I hold a degree in Engineering along with a teaching qualification (PGCE in maths), and have several years of experience tutoring students across different exam boards. My lessons are suitable for secondary school students (ages 11–16) and adult learners, from foundational arithmetic to GCSE, A-Level, or introductory university maths, but not for primary-level early numeracy
