About Carola
I graduated from high school with a specialization in humanities, economic-social option and I subsequently continued my humanities studies by attending the faculty of Intercultural Communication at the University of Turin, graduating with full marks. During my studies I acquired the ability to teach, in particular languages, both thanks to courses I attended (eg teaching Italian for foreigners) and thanks to the experience of repetitions and private lessons. The decisive turning point in the knowledge of the English language has matured thanks to my long-term stay in foreign countries such as South Africa, Port Elizabeth, where I have carried out intensive English courses and worked directly in a foreign context. Currently my stay in Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands, Spain), where there is a strong international context, is allowing me to continue to improve my knowledge of the language and also to teach locally.

I have always believed that the methodology to be used must be adapted to the needs and requirements of the student himself. Having said that, I believe the interweaving of language theory (grammar, lexicon, linguistic structures) and practice (speaking and reading) is essential, a decisive element in learning a foreign language. I will follow the student step by step both in the knowledge of English, thanks to explanations and exercises, and in the assimilation of a study method that will allow the student to be able to study a new language independently, or to deepen it, in a school future.
