About Samantha
I am a certified ESL teacher with 7 years of classroom experience. I was also a tutor and a child development program director for some time. I have taught students ranging from age 5-21. I help students to improve their English language development through real-world scenarios and application of the language in a manner that is meaningful to each individual student.

My teaching approach is to first get to know my students and then tailor the learning to the student's needs and goals. I like to begin with a consultation in which I get to know the student and what their short and long-term goals are. From there, I like to create a plan with input from the student to ensure those goals are being met. I provide an encouraging atmosphere which fosters confidence and comfortablility using the new language.
