About Ali
I’m an actor and director with an MFA in Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. I’ve spent the last decade performing, teaching, and directing in New York and abroad — most recently at La MaMa, Juilliard, and NYU Grad Acting.
My work is about attention — to language, to impulse, to the strange logic of human behavior. I help actors slow down enough to see what’s really happening in a moment, then trust themselves enough to let it unfold.
In my sessions, we talk, move, try things, throw them out, and try again. The process is rigorous but alive — meant to strengthen both your technique and your instinct. I want you to leave a session feeling clearer, braver, and more connected to what you actually have to say.
Whether you’re preparing for an audition or returning to the craft, we’ll find your way back to the part of acting that feels necessary.

My goal as a coach is to help each student find confidence in their work — whether for an audition, a monologue, or ongoing acting training. I draw from my MFA training at NYU Graduate Acting, as well as my professional experience as both an actor and director, to help you connect deeply to text and make specific choices that bring your performances to life.
