About Emma
I’m Emma, an autistic teacher with an Honours Degree in Psychology and 10+ years’ experience as a high school English teacher. This unique combination of lived experience, clinical understanding and teaching experience means that I will ‘get’ your child. I am passionate about using a strengths-based neuro-affirming approach to help neurodivergent teens (ADHD/ASD/Dyslexia ) progress from overwhelmed to organised.
I live in South Africa and work online according to AEST/AWST – perfectly timed for after-school sessions.

I provide solutions-focused 1-hour sessions that are structured, predictable, and designed for students who think differently. Grades can only increase once anxiety and overwhelm decrease. I will help your child to bridge the gap between knowing what to do and actually doing it. Your child isn’t lazy – they just need the tools to organise and approach schoolwork in a way that makes sense to them.
