About Marleene
I am a student at UWE, and have been tutoring german to 10 - 15 year olds for 3 years at the international school of geneva. I recieved a 6/7 on my german language and literature IB, which involved mostly essay writing and text analasys. I have covered many classic german speaking authors including Kafka and Frisch.

As a tutor, I mostly work with students up to B2 level alongside their language classes at school, offering help catching up on the units they are working on in class. This includes help with text analasys, essay writing, presentations, and written and oral exams. I try to, where possible, only speak german during class, which helps promote the natural aquisition of language through conversation. This is an aspect that I consider vital to the learning process, and which is often neglected in favour of learning vocabulary and grammar off by heart, or "by the textbook". I believe that learning a second or third language should be enjoayble and rewarding. I have a love and understanding of the proccess, and speak 3 languages myself: English, German, and French.
