About Donnella

I reside in New Jersey and have over 18 years experience as a corporate trainer/ account development manager. I was grateful to work for leading Fortune 500 organizations in the digital publishing industry. Specifically, I worked in the Scientific, Technical and Medical division traveling throughout North America, parts of Europe and even once or twice to Sao Paolo, Brazil. I presented products to our government, academic and corporate clients - including top pharma organizations.
As my presentation and training responsibilities grew, I created training manuals and online tutorials for our customers. I also trained my sales and marketing colleagues from the Asia-Pacific region online, as part of my company's global product rollout. In 2004, I received my Training Manager/Director Certification in Adult Learning from the Langevin Learning Services.
In 2009, I left my industry and started my own Event & PR business and never looked back. People hire me as a consultant to work with them on building a positive professional image in the workplace.
I am the founder of New Jersey Fashion Week the first official fashion week for the state of New Jersey. This has allowed me to work with state and government officials and receive media accolades for building my own brand and garnering sponsors.

About the lesson

My approach is described as personable, friendly, and always patient.
I specialize in teaching "Business English", and Professional Public Speaking" when working with a client. I can also work with you on interview preparations if you have an upcoming job interview.
I teach in local public libraries or online only.
I teach in public libraries or professional work environments only.
I do not go to private residents nor do not teach in my home.

I had to learn very early in my career, how to refine my professional image as a representative of my company. I am currently pursuing my TESOL certification. I recommend potential clients to google my name and/or visit my LinkedIn profile. You'll see my presentation videos and references as well to get an idea of my speaking voice and style. Many times people approached me to assist them with their Business English, I was surprised and extremely flattered so wanted to explore teaching and assisting professionals through online and in-person tutoring.

The student must pay for the lesson(s) ahead of time to confirm their tutor space.
There is no refund for missed lessons. Each lesson is one hour each and begins on-time.
After each session students receive a one-page performance review with notes.
